In specific cases, the competent senate can permit audio, film and television recordings to be made in the courtroom during the pronouncement of a decision - but not during the hearing (section 169 of the Courts Constitution Act). This requires a decision by the respective senate. In order to obtain such a decision, it is requested to notify the press office in good time, i.e. at least two weeks before the pronouncement, of the intention to make recordings. In case of permission, the entry on the list of hearings and pronouncements (available in German only) will show the camera icon. Accreditation is required. It may be necessary to establish a media pool.
