    The Federal Administrative Court has been located in the building of the former Imperial Court of Justice in Leipzig since 2002. The Imperial Court of Justice was the highest court of civil and criminal jurisdiction in the German Empire from 1879 to 1945. Its administration of justice and the architecture of the building reflect the chequered history of Germany during this period.

  • German Presidency of ACA-Europe 2018-2020

    From May 2018 to May 2020, the Federal Administrative Court assumes the presidency of ACA-Europe, the Association of the Councils of State and the Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union. The purpose of the association is to promote exchanges of views and experiences between the supreme administrative courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
